Man Utd win ...again. RVP buy of the decade!! Leeds lost again......Warnock underwhelming appointment of the year!!

In the picks some crackers. Sheff Weds away win at Hull, Sochaux home win against Marseille, Watford away, Wolves Blackburn draw.

Full house of 10 pickers. 6 winners. The best of being Dickson Pato with the Sochaux win @ nett 3.5. That takes them from 2nd to bottom to the top of the league. Closely followed by James Delahunt who scored again with Chestrefields 3-0 win over the cobblers @1.2 (all scores quoted are always nett) then there was Craig Lowe with Chelsea @0.91 Jimmy Smith with Man Utd @0.80 Nigel Howlett @ 0.30 for QOS, & ross jones with Leicester's demolition of Bristol City @ 0.80.

Maradona

9 pickers here...but just two winners. Steph Cook holding her clenched girl power fist in the air takes 2nd spot with the Leicester win @0.80 Paul 'the bard' Shakespeare takes top with his Oxford away win @2.75

Dalglish

9 picks here too...but more winners than Maradona.....3!! Tony Griffiths with Man Utd @0.80 but Dave Horseman (yes newbies he is half horse half man!! which is which remains uncertain...i hope for his sake the horse is the bottom half...the he could truly be hung like a horse!!) anyway he 2nd with the QOS away win @0.30. Mervyn Davies stays top with a fine draw between Huddersfield & Birmingham @2.25

7 pickers here, 3 winners and the 'PICK OF THE WEEK'. That goes to Ricky Jones he chose Sheff Weds to overcome high flying Hull city which they duly did @4.00 he goes top by some way. Other winners were Ian Booth with man Utd @0.80 and Tom Kerr who went garlic side with Montpelier to beat Lorient (a french leyton orient)@0.91. Bill Imrie remains 2nd despite losing out this week.

Lineker

4 pickers just one winner. Phil Smith a 2nd successive win this time it was Man Utd @0.80. He leads with 1.63 everyone else has minus 2. long way to go.

Gascoigne

6 pickers 50% winners. And some beauties at that. I think this league will be very competitive this season and maybe one to watch out for. The best of 3 great picks was just David Rosser with Watford away at Boro @2.40. Tha takes him top.... just. WART (a lovely name) went 10p less with another good pick of the Wolves/ Blackburn @2.30. The other winner was Owen Williams with Chelski away @0.91.

Pineapple Lee

5 pickers here and just one winner. Steve Tester weighed in with Man city's win up the Arse @1.60. He's top and Martin Young is 2nd despite losing.

In the Holdsworth league Malcolm Gibson set out to stake his claim for a place with a Man City pick @1.6 also.

Well done all the winners. I got it so wrong this week going for West Ham and my missus for Southend both lost 3-0. Better make my new years resolution to give it more thought ….or get a new pin!!
