It's getting better - Week 2

The first week was almost a wash out predicting wise, but now in week two we have doubled the amount of correct pickers. Long may this continue. I am aiming at 100% by week 6!!

League by league:

A full house of pickers with 50% of success. The lead pick being my faith in my team Leeds being rewarded, Luciano Becchio putting two past my local team Posh @ 2.3. Pato & M Gibbons both pulled in 2.2 with Blackburn and Fleetwood town respectively. Virdi & T Gibbons also scored.

Matty Gibbons pulls away at the top with his 100% record and Virdi is 2nd with his 100% (but smaller pick record).

10 out of 10 pickers with 4 successes, Ross Jones stays in front with a spirited Sheff weds comeback win @ 2.00. Andy Ewart moves into 2nd with his Leeds pick . Also winners were Craig Lowe & Paul Shakespeare with Blackpools demolition of Ipswich and Blackburn's fine win.

9 pickers here but just one outright winner. Martyn Cornwell’s 'welsh barca' win against the newly promoted hammers, that moved him to 2nd in the league. Grant Elder hanging on at the top.

James Holland lives to pick another day as his Sunderland v Reading game was cancelled.

4 picks this week with a 50% win rate. Nigel Howlett figured out that both teams that shipped five the week before would obviously draw when they played each other....and they [email protected] 3.4. That was pick of the week well done Nigel. Jonathan Dunk pulled in 3rd best pick of the week with Watford's Italian inspired win over the blues at 2.40 They take the top two places in the early stages.

One pick. One loss. League table= no wins. This league is open to be won with so few pickers. So come lineker players get picking you could win this league with just a couple of wins.

6 pickers - two winners and one postponement. Daniel Cook has 2nd best pick with Everton’s fine display against a woeful Villa @ 2.50. Thomas Rydheard went into the lower league to pick out Newport to beat Braintree (now that’s research) @2.3. David Rosser is still in front but Daniel moves to 2nd place after his win.

Just the one winner from Mike (keeping it low profile with no surname) he went sausage side with a Werder Bremen win against Borussia Dortmund at a modest 1.33. He goes top of the league with minus 67p. Everyone else has minus 2.00.

Overall league

Matthew Gibbons leads the way with Ross Jones in second.

Good luck next week.
