Season 22 - Week 6

Sorry guys my analysis has been sadly missing this season.  I've been somewhat busy at work and home and until Tony starts paying me something occassionally has to give!  I'll try to be more regular in future, more All Bran and all that.

So what's been happening?  Well when I last did analysis Sean Locke & Ricky Jones were flying with massive scores and the all-time season record looked under threat.  Both of them have though thrown away their good starts with 4 losses and the overall league looks both poor in quality and incredibly tight.  Certainly Nik Simms £13.55 record doesn't look under threat.  Nonetheless you can only beat what is in front of you and Chrissy Blackers is currently doing that on £5.72, fractionally clear of Daniel Cook.  5 people are in the £4-5 range and with 10 people within £3 of the leader it is still an open competition.

In the Pele League Ricky Jones has been relentlessly hauled in by Nick Lines (looking for his 6th title), those two are well clear in a poor league, where -£2.30 is good enough for 6th!

Picks of the Week

Paul Shakespeare and Craig Lowe both picked the 5.00 Man U v Newcastle draw, with their gains pulling them out of relegation zones,  Adrian Furber also picked a draw (Liverpool v Man City) for 3.40, with Trevor Gibbons picking the Reading away win at Ipswich, although 2.60 winner was only achieved thanks to 2 injury time goals.
